Their skincare is made in small batches on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Their supply chain is transparent and well researched, and they purchase organic ingredients from local or Australian based companies (where possible) that support fair-trade and ethical working practices.
Cardboard tube packaging is crafted from 100% recycled paper, which is home compostable or kerbside recyclable. Their tins are 100% reusable or infinitely recyclable via kerbside recycling. Wanderlightly also donate 5% of all sales to conservation initiatives that support, regenerate and give back to our spectacular Earth.
The inclusion of grounding smoky quartz in these beautiful bath salts made using it more mindful – I consciously spent longer trying to be present to the experience. The plastic-free packaging was simple and made welding (and shaking a little into the bath) neater and simpler. It’s a visual feast (that scatters ingredients into the bath), but they’re dainty enough to disappear down the drain with little fuss.
As soon as I took the lid off, I knew I loved this one. The scent is incredible! Very satisfying chunks of pink himalayan salt, as well as magnesium sulphate, which dissolved easily into the bath water. The dried lavender, calendula, and chamomile rehydrated in the water and released a delicate scent. After using these bath salts, my body and mind felt so relaxed and recharged.
I love that this comes in a portable tin so I can take it on holiday! A beautiful natural soak which has a calming light chamomile and lavender scent and when combined with the magnesium gives the ultimate wind down. I floated out of this bath like I’d just had a massage!
I love that there is a whole chunky smokey quartz crystal in the middle. This is stunning and makes for good photos! I am also impressed with their initiatives and ethos around packaging.
I love the combination of calming and healing ingredients: magnesium, chamomile, lavender, calendula and himalayan salt. But mostly I love that the (recyclable / reusable) tin contains a stone: smokey quartz – “an excellent grounding stone, gently neutralising negative vibrations and detoxifying on all levels.” A delightful product made with love.
