Through an ongoing partnership with the Orangutan Project, The Australian Natural Soap Company has raised almost $35,000 to help rescue and rehabilitate orangutans in Indonesia.
I love that this is a soap bar and there is no need for a canister or shaving soap / gel bottle. It forms a rich lather which is great and not obvious scent is necessary meaning less ingredients that would have needed to be considered if it wasn’t a shaving soap. The packaging is clever and inviting and the bar itself is a good size.
I love how silky smooth this makes my skin! I have quite sensitive skin so when I use a new soap I’m always a little skeptical – but this was great and didn’t cause any irritation.
A really interesting product, I hadn’t seen anything like this before. I did take a little while to get used to, but I can definitely see the appeal of the more natural aspect. I love how rustic the finished product is, you can really get a sense of the people who crafted it in each product.
Packed with natural oils, this forms a conditioning lather over the skin that allows a razor to glide gently over. By far the most moisturising soap bar I’ve ever used. So conveniently portable and a great zero waste product.
I asked my father, the shaver in our family, to review this natural shaving soap. He was particularly impressed with how moisturising it was. “Gives a nice smooth shave,” he says, “easy to use and lathers up nicely.” We both love that it’s zero waste, and that this brand supports the Orangutan Project, a charity close to our hearts.
