The product is packaged in easy to repurpose or recycle screw-top tins and posted in compostable mailers and recycled cardboard.
I love the branding and use of an aluminium tin for packaging. The natural smell of the sunscreen is appealing and I appreciate the brand’s involvement in charity organisations, eco-packaging and how it was made in a solar-powered factory using sustainable plant-based ingredients.
I love the look of the beautiful and modern branding and unique packaging, and the skin-softening protective formula is lovely. Brilliant, thoughtful initiatives, and easy-to-follow principles would resonate with a large scope of customers.
First impressions: I loved the compostable mailer used and upon opening, it was great to see very minimal packaging and a recycled box. When using the sunscreen I found it really easy to apply and it kind of melted on my skin. It spread easy enough and didn’t leave my skin feeling irritated.
I love that there is now a plastic-free way to have sunscreen! I thought this might be messy to use, but it wasn’t at all due to the slightly thicker formulation and it doesn’t come running out when you open it. Thick and rich, it offers 4 hour water resistance, which is amazing!
I’m a huge fan of the zero waste factor (as well as the SPF factor) of this sunscreen – I love the reusable tin. It truly IS butter – it feels wonderful between the fingers and glides onto the skin. Thanks to the included essential oils it’s not at all drying like other sunscreens. And a big bonus is that it lasts for up to 4 hours. A whopping 10% of sales goes to charity partners.
