I enjoy the earthy scent of this one which is not too overpowering. Applied smoothly, not greasy at all and didn’t take long to soak into the skin. I love that it is vegan, made with natural ingredients therefore skin and marine conscious. The packaging was minimal and recyclable. Love that it is SPF50 and can be used for infants 3 months+.
The People4Ocean SPF50 Sunscreen formula is thick but easy to spread over the skin with a slight and pleasant fragrance. I value that they strive to create a product that doesn’t damage the oceans’ ecosystems (which is something that I am always conscious about) and gentle on the skin. As we spend most of our days outside, it is key to have an effective and safe sunscreen.
Beautiful branding, excellent skin feel – not as heavy as some others and more easily absorbed. I like the branding too. Natural and non-toxic is a must in our house. Love the focus on Australian sourcing of design, packaging etc plus wonderful links to ocean conservation.
Light, easily spreadable and not greasy. This sunscreen feels like a luxe moisturiser and smells delicious – lavender and ylang ylang – so good! My kids (2 + 5 yrs) adore this too and they normally aren’t fans of sunscreen on their faces.
What I love about this sunscreen is that despite its high zinc oxide content, it contains a wonderful blend of oils, butters and beeswax to prevent dryness or chalkiness. It rubs in relatively easily and doesn’t leave any white streaks. It’s completely reef-safe and lasts for up to 3 hours and stays on strong after a couple of ocean swims. I love that a percentage of all profits goes to reef restoration initiatives: just that little bit extra to help reverse some of the damage caused by conventional sunscreens (if you’re still using one – stop!)
