The NueBar soap is mauve in colour and has the letter W embedded in it so that you can distinguish it from your solid shampoo or conditioner bar. I loved the light scent of it. Soap bars are a great option to reduce plastic waste and I love that these are handmade.
I love that this body wash is zero waste in a bar form but also pH balanced. Soaps tend to be alkaline and can be drying and exacerbate skin conditions such as eczema. Super gentle and very moisturising with thanks to the cacao butter, I really enjoy using this.
This was a really nice body wash bar, which didn’t leave my skin feeling dry afterwards – hallelujah! Being soap -ree it was easier to hold during use and left my skin clean and hydrated. I love that every part of their packaging or product can be recycled or composted – their zero waste values are very much aligned to my own. I also love that they are handmade in Sydney (love supporting local businesses) and even their power is supplied via solar panels or a renewables power supplier.
As with all NueBar products – a little goes a long way and I can see this wash bar lasting quite a while (unlike other wash bars that degrade easily in the damp of the shower). I love the subtle scent of orange and cocoa (or ‘jaffa’). And I especially love that it comes helpfully imprinted with a ‘W’ so as to avoid confusion with your shampoo or conditioner bars.
This soap makes good lather, feels smooth and rich when used and has that hand-made feel to it, which makes using this product rather special. I also really appreciate that the product is cruelty-free, and doesn’t use any palm oil and plastic.
