Safe – Formulated from excellent, non-toxic ingredients.
Responsible – NueBar create vegan, cruelty-free and palm oil-free products. All of their major base oils are certified organic (argan, olive, coconut, cacao butter). Their coconut oil is Fair Trade and sourced from Nuilife who give 100% of profits back to the community in the Solomon Islands where it is produced. Their cacao butter is also Fair Trade and sourced via Maretai Organics from a Farmer’s collective in Peru.
All products are handmade by NueBar in Sydney, and their premises are supplied with power by rooftop solar or renewables supplier Powershop. Cardboard packaging is from recycled paper, printed in Australia with soy based inks and is compostable. Postage is delivered using carbon neutral couriers Sendle.
This was gently moisturising and easy to use, with well researched ingredients. I love the brand’s support of Tangaroa Blue as well as their commitment to creating a low waste product.
With long, fine, bleached hair I have loads of troubles with knots. This untangles my hair with lots of slip factor in 3 rubs over the length of my hair, whereas normally with conditioner bars, I need at least 10 to get the conditioning that I need. Deeply conditioning, but also leaves my hair looking clean and not greasy. Excellent on my daughter’s long curls too.
A wonderfully moisturising conditioner bar that glides onto the hair after shampooing. As someone with super-dry hair (after years of highlighting) this conditioner bar truly is a blessing. Hair looks and feels both hydrated and voluminous after use. I absolutely adore the scent and colour and the fact that it’s ZERO WASTE!
A little goes a long way with this conditioner bar – unlike other conditioner bars, I feel not much is needed to condition my long and dry / treated hair. My mane feels shiny and soft after blow drying. I especially love that it comes with a ‘C’ imprinted in the bar. Best not to get confused with shampoo or wash bars!
This conditioner was extremely hydrating and easy to use. I felt the ingredients were of high quality and recommend this product when your hair needs extra hydration. It also had a lovely subtle scent.
