As someone who has a large collection of tattoos I really appreciate this product and formula. I have tried many tattoo aftercare products and none are as buttery and soft as this. It melts between your fingers and absorbs nicely into the skin leaving a subtle and pleasant scent. It is also great to apply to healed tattoos as it nourishes the skin and brings out the colours of the ink. I also love that the brand support and encourage body positivity, supporting our amazing LGBTQ and POC communities – this is so important and as a plus size woman, I love the inclusivity they have built into their brand and culture.
I don’t have a tattoo, however, this little pot is packed full of amazing ingredients making it not only I’m sure a fantastic tattoo balm, but also a wonderful multi-purpose balm. The ingredients in this balm were chosen for their healing, antibacterial and soothing properties. It is nourishing in the extreme, forms a great protective barrier over cracked skin and smells divine.
I absolutely love the ingredients, scent and texture of this all-natural tattoo salve. However, without any fresh tattoos to test this on myself, I sent the jar to a friend who owns a tattoo studio and just so happens to have a fresh tat to test it out on himself! He said that the salve “smells lovely, is smooth and really assisted with healing. Would highly recommend”.
I love the whole idea behind this product! There aren’t many good options available in this space.
