The company offers its range in reusable glass jars or paper packaging made and constructed from post-consumer recycled stock and printed with eco-ink. All botanicals are sealed in a home compostable plant-based cello-bag.
Organic Merchant have partnered with Australia’s first carbon neutral postal service Sendle, support local school Camdenville Public by providing regular donations, and also contribute to Lentil As Anything who promote social fairness and inclusion.
I liked the subtle cacao flavour and delicious aftertaste of this chocolate. It’s lovely even with hot water. I also love the brand’s ethos and the efforts in supporting the community, respecting Indigenous culture and the environment, while using organic ingredients and using the most environmentally-friendly resources and practices.
A smooth, warming, satisfying drink filled with a variety of spicy, herbal flavours. When I smelled the powder I didn’t think the drink would be as delicious as it was. It tastes healthy but yummy, wholesome and satisfying. I love that it has no sugar and yet is sweet enough with the touch of stevia it contains. It really hits the spot as an evening drink or warming drink for a cold day.
This blend of organic raw cacao, maca, mucuna seeds and rose petals is rich to taste, but not too heavy. Upon drinking a hot cup full, I feel more alert and focussed, minus the usual crash you get from espresso coffee drinking. Works well with hot frothy oat milk. Beautiful refillable packaging.
This is much more than just a chocolate powder – with 9 ingredients other than cacao. I like that it is sugar-free (using stevia), certified organic, and is free from additives, preservatives and fillers. It definitely feels like a healthy version of hot chocolate and has a beautifully designed outer packaging, too.
Such a great blend of ingredients! And it makes it simple to add some additional functional herbs into your day. I have been adding it to my smoothies and it works brilliantly! I also love that they use stevia to sweeten and that the brand uses formulas created by a naturopath. They also appear to have thoroughly thought about their packaging and opted for compostable, recyclable or reusable wherever possible.
