Responsible – ergoPouch is partnered with the Guardian Childcare & Education upcycling resource program, ‘Exchange’. The program is designed to encourage sustainability in the community, inspire children in their centres to get creative and educate about the importance of upcycling and sustainability. ergoPouch donates clean-waste materials such as old product samples, material cut-offs, office materials and recyclable items to Guardian.
ergoPouch is affiliated with Red Nose Australia and regularly campaigns around safe sleep, fundraises and makes an annual donation to the charity. ergoPouch also provides product donations to Heart Kids, the Little Heroes Foundation, The Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute and Frontier Services. The company has pledged to donate $30,000 to The Australian Red Cross and RSPCA over a period of 3 years (2020 – 2022) in support of the bushfire recovery and relief.
ergoPouch’s factory in China provides the following for employees: a fair wage to all workers, all five insurances for workers as required by the government, good working conditions, up to 28 days maternity leave with wages, and the factory does not employ children.
I really love the weight of the ergoPouch sleeping bags, when I put my twin boys in them at night time they are less likely to be startled by noises in the house (with 2 older brothers this is pretty important!) I put this down to them feeling extra cosy and having that ‘weighted’ feeling, which doesn’t really happen with some of the other thinner sleeping bags. I also love the temperature chart that was in the box!
A great all-rounder. Well-liked by my baby and a great length for my taller than average children. I absolutely love that they are making a move towards a better future by removing the plastic coat hangers from their packaging and removing the velcro from the cardboard packaging, this shows a commitment to change and I really respect that.
Cool and cosy at the same time is a property you can only get with natural materials and this beautifully made sleeping bag is just that. I love how it is completely made from organic cotton (including the filling) and I have never seen my children sweaty or overheated in it, which makes me so much more relaxed at bedtime. The double zip makes for easy nighttime changes and I love the little clip at the neck to protect from the zip scratching. They’ve thought of everything!
As with all the ergoPouch sleeping bags, the design is faultless: truly ergonomic and designed with your baby’s needs in mind. Easy to put on, to take off and to change nappies in the middle of the night. Beautifully soft inside. The tog of this sleeping bag is perfect for milder winter nights or cooler Spring and Autumn nights. I love the pattern too.
