Responsible – Ekoroo by Eco Shop Co’s products are ethically made, FDA approved and vegan friendly. There is no plastic packaging used, opting for paper packaging instead and reusable cotton net bags where possible. The Australian owned business also uses recycled cartons sourced from local shops.
In partnership with i=change, Ekoroo by Eco Shop Co donate 1$ from every sale to an environmental project such as Greening Australia, and have also donated bamboo toothbrushes to the Australian Bushfire Relief and to FIJI Kids.
I love that this cup can be used by all ages, whether pre or post babies. The large size means it can hold up to 3 tampons worth of blood for 12 hours and is a great option for those who have had kids or maybe even a stage 1 prolapse (check with your doctor or physio first). The long removal tip is great for ease of removal and can be cut shorter if it irritates you (it was fine for me).
This is made from super-soft silicone which is easy to fold and insert. It also includes a long enough stem at the bottom to help with removal. A larger volume cup and sized on the larger size too.
Menstrual cups are a great way to reduce single-use plastic and waste but also save money over the lifetime of the product compared to buying disposables. Loved that this also had no unnecessary packaging, just a simple carry bag to store the cup when not in use.
Loved the ease of use and minimal packaging. Their ethos is very aligned with my own.
I liked the biodegradable bag, the hemp pouch and the minimal paper used in marketing material.
