Responsible – Bobo & Boo use all-natural materials for their plant-based goodies, which are also compostable and biodegradable. They reuse all the bulk cartons from wholesale orders and aim to use no bubble wrapping when it comes to packaging their products.
Throughout the entire range, Bobo & Boo use recycled materials where possible, such as bamboo fibres that are a by-product of the bamboo industry. They also use materials such as fibres extracted from crops like corn, wheat, and sweet potatoes.
The company avoids printers and the use of unnecessary paper within their office and highly encourages the use of keep cups and reusable bottles.
I absolutely love how these straws are compostable and also child size. My kids love drinking from these as they are small enough that they can reach the top of the straw when the cup is on the table! I also love that the straw cleaner is made from natural fibres.
I love that these straws are completely compostable, even the brush has plant-based and compostable bristles. The packaging is completely plastic-free. Because they are made of actual bamboo, the widths are slightly different which highlights that they are a natural product. Wide and easy to clean. A true zero waste product.
I like the fact this product is compostable, unlike silicone or stainless steel straws. I like how the cleaning brush was plant-based too!
Solid bamboo straws that are compostable and not too long. The brand also provide some good reasons as to why bamboo is a good environmental alternative.
The kids love using these because of their child-friendly size – very easy for little mouths to grasp and sip from! I love how organic they look and feel.
