They provide the highest level of “edible” purity, limiting exposure to synthetic and toxic chemicals, and leaving out all the nasties. The company uses recyclable glass for packaging and works with Terracycle to transform caps, lids and pouches into children’s playgrounds, outdoor furniture and more.
During the recent Australian bushfire crisis, Edible Beauty Australia donated over $10,000 to charities providing both human and animal relief efforts. This year they also sold Mothers’ Day bundles to support The Hills Women’s Shelter, Every Little Bit Helps and Women’s Community Shelters by donating Edible Beauty products. Over 300 units of product have been donated to Aboriginal women in remote communities who do not have access to basic toiletries and self-care items, through The Happy Boxes Project.
I love that only one drop of this divine serum is needed for even distribution across the entire face and neck, which means a little goes a long way. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly which means you can apply it speedily in the mornings underneath your moisturiser and makeup. Despite containing a high amount of vitamin C (which usually dries my skin out), my skin feels soft and hydrated after one week of use. I’ve also noticed my skin tone evening out and hyperpigmentation fading. Lovely subtle scent.
The slightly-sticky nature of this serum indicates how hydrating the formula is – hours after application my skin still felt quenched. I’m also seeing a bit more glow than usual. I was also impressed by their work with Terracyle and their commitment to Australian bushfire relief, indigenous communities and various shelters and women’s groups.
I was impressed by the luxurious feel and quality of ingredients. I felt the product was high performing and did a great job in hydrating and plumping the skin, whilst leaving your skin feeling smooth. The integrity of the brand also resonates with me as they focus on sustainable non-toxic ingredients without compromising on quality.
This serum lives up to its name, it really is something from a heavenly realm. With Hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate, as well as Kakadu Plum and Acerola’s high levels of Vitamin C to lessen hyperpigmentation and accelerate the production of collagen and elastin, this is a potent anti-aging serum. Both morning and night I find myself reaching for this compulsively like my body is calling to me that it needs it… and my goodness, does my face drink in this magical, cooling, anti-aging serum!
Love this packaging, simple and effective. Also love the lightly scented and easily absorbed product. Furthermore, this brand has many strong ethical standards and also supports some great philanthropic causes.
