The brand uses solar energy to power appliances required for production, recycled materials for product packaging, and couriers that guarantee 100% carbon neutral delivery.
Dearest Lips donate a portion of each sale to a local charity, Carevan Blacktown, which feeds the homeless and most vulnerable members of the community each week. Lip balms were also donated to Operation Angel during the 2019/2020 Australian Bushfires as a way to show support to front-line workers.
The smell is delicious, the packaging is gorgeous, it’s become one of my favourite lip balms. Their donation to the homeless is amazing, and all their values align with my own. I love that they are solar-powered and focus on nature, both with their ingredients, packaging, and brand values.
A refined, luxurious and sophisticated take on flavoured lip balm. It does taste like turkish delight and I love the compostable packaging. Just divine.
I’m a lifelong fan of Turkish delight, so I absolutely love the “flavour” or scent of this lovely little lip balm. The combo of rose geranium with the chocolatey aroma of cocoa butter is to-die-for. It’s super buttery and immediately moisturising (which isn’t surprising considering it’s made with unrefined cocoa butter) and I love that its pink colour comes from a botanical powder and not synthetic colouring. LOVE the zero waste dispenser too!
The scent is truly delicious. Delectably fragrant, which is perfect for a product that you apply to your lips. The cocoa butter-rich formula has a long-last softening effect and the compact size made it little enough to toss in a coin purse – not just a handbag. Encouraging conversion to entirely compostable packaging, and championing small scale manufacture is admirable. I think those things have great resonance right now.
I like the fragrance and the feel of this lip balm. A bit hard on application, but once warmed on your lips, it melts into a lovely consistency that sinks into your lips well. This brand resonates with me and my own beliefs, I love that the brand depends on it’s community to make this product.
