My Shay is rich in fair trade and organic ingredients including coconut oil, shea butter and cacao butter. Their tins and glass jars can be refilled, reused and recycled, and their cardboard eco-pots are made from recycled paper and printed with eco-friendly ink. The brand uses compostable and recycled packaging materials.
My Shay supports local organisations that support women’s health, including the Ultimate Foundation of Hope, a Tasmanian organisation that supports women who are living with gynaecological cancer. During the COVID19 pandemic, My Shay supplied essential medical staff at the Royal Hobart Hospital and the Hobart Private Hospital with hand sanitiser made to the WHO recommended formulation.
Such a great idea and so easy to use. My Shay deodorant is a great product that works well and smells so great. Refills in a biodegradable package is a fantastic idea. You can refill any container you like – easy for you and the planet.
I’m a big lover of lemon myrtle so I love the fragrance of this product. I found it easy to apply – not greasy or powdery, quick to rub in and it worked well. The refill pouch is certified home compostable, which is great. It was also shipped in a completely plastic-free and recyclable/ compostable mailer, which I loved.

I was a huge fan of this deodorant when it was placed as a finalist last year — and won gold! I love that it’s now available as a refill. Just love the lemon & myrtle scent.
Once you get used to applying the deodorant paste, it’s easy and not messy at all. This deodorant has a great scent and works well.
