Responsible – More Body have used 576.3 kg of regenerated nylon waste in their fabrics to date, of which 143.6 kg comes from regenerated commercial fishing nets. They also use bamboo in fabrics; a fast-growing, regenerating plant that requires little water and no pesticides. 95% of their manufacturing is completed in a 30+-year-old family-run business in Fujian, China, which is a member of Amfori BSCI of which More Body visit regularly and maintain team relations with.
More Body have worked together with factories to reduce plastic packaging by consolidating sizes, styles, colours in bulk. They are slowly transitioning to using bamboo and bio bags for future deliveries, and all their packaging is made from recycled or compostable materials.
More Body have teamed up with CarbonClick, a New Zealand-based company making it easy for people and businesses to help fight climate change, by allowing customers to purchase carbon offsets. They supported a large fundraiser for bushfire relief donating several boxes of new stock in January 2020, provided 25 free pilates virtual classes during the Coronavirus shutdown and also support the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation for indigenous education.
The More Body Trapezius Bra Top has a super cool cut which is flattering and supportive – everything I want from my sports bra! I like that the brand has created a flattering cut with a high neck and thin straps without losing chest support and it’s good knowing that the brand has lowered its environmental impact by opting for recycled fibres.
This set is sooo soft! The material feels like silk on my skin. Amazing comfort, great fit, and very supportive top. The high neckline is still feminine, whilst very secure and looks great on, each piece complementing each other beautifully. I love the use of recycled materials knowing I am wearing something to be proud of as well as extremely comfortable in. I can tell these were designed to flatter the feminine body. I got a lot of compliments on this set at pilates!
Ultra-flattering, this activewear range was designed by a pilates instructor to give compression in the right places to support you in your exercise and also full coverage. With a wide (13.5cm!) high waistband, these leggings feel and look so good. I feel surprisingly confident just pairing them with the crop – despite being a mum of 2! The crop is also to die for with a gorgeous neckline and adjustable halter back which is supportive and looks so chic but also hides away perfectly under a cutaway top.
