In partnership with TerraCycle, they’ve rolled out a recycling program where customers can return their used containers for a $10 e-gift card, and are proudly part of PETA’s ‘Global Beauty Without Bunnies’ Program.
For the last two years in a row, Black Chicken Remedies has also taken part in the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Mighty Acts of Pinkness campaign, where special deodorant paste tubs were created as a pay-it-forward gifting option and a minimum of $2 per sold product was pledged by the brand.
To help consumers better understand the meaning of toxic ingredients used within the beauty industry, Black Chicken Remedies created their own guide to natural beauty as a free online download.
A creamy, sophisticated formula that is a delight to use. It feels gentle on skin (always nice if you’re prone to irritation) and leaves it nourished and hydrated (I suspect that’s thanks to the shea butter and coconut oil). The scent is pleasantly clean and gender-neutral which is a real bonus in my books.
Axilla truly gives all day protection. This is the product which converted me to natural deodorant years ago and I have gifted it many a time to friends and family when they tell me they can’t find something which works. A great herbal, unisex scent makes it perfectly suited to any wearer.
This deodorant paste feels substantial when you put it on, in a good way, it feels like it’s ready to do the job. The smell is fresh and unisex, it dries quickly and it’s an effective deoderant for reducing my body odour.
I’ve wanted to try this deodorant for a while now and it doesn’t disappoint! This is one natural deodorant that offers long-lasting protection, even through the sweatiest / most sweltering of days. It doesn’t block odour, but neutralises it naturally through its blend of natural ingredients. The scent is subtle and not at all overpowering, no marks are left on my clothes, and only a small pea-sized amount is needed, so a little goes a long way.
This deodorant is effective and has a pleasant scent. I don’t mind using my hands to apply it though I know some people prefer sticks.
