The company manufactures in small batches and uses 100% compostable and recyclable packaging for orders. Fabric scraps are upcycled, recycled, or donated and all faulty or misprinted items are donated or sold as ‘seconds’ to reduce waste to almost zero. The company plants trees through the No Issue initiative and contributes to a low carbon economy by ensuring their website is Carbon Offset.
I loved the sweet little frog patterns and both the items fit my babies so well and felt very comfortable and well made. A good discovery of a sweet brand which I didn’t know of before. And how great is it that whenever the company orders packaging materials a tree is planted? What a clever way to offset the usage of necessary materials!
I liked the quality of the fabric and the transeasonal nature of this garment. Stains from feeding were easily removed and the fabric washed incredibly well. I also really appreciate a brand that recognises the need to change the practices of their industry for the betterment of the environment.
The print is gorgeously unique and I am always looking for 100% GOTS certified. The detail and care that has been put in from start to finish of creating the product is impressive – with the addition of the illustrations being hand-drawn. I love the uniqueness of the brand’s apparel.
Oh how gorgeous! High quality, soft and thick organic cotton with the cutest prints and colours. Thoughtfully designed with comfy thick stretchy waistbands and enough space for a cloth nappy, these also wash and wear well. I love that the sizes go up to 5-6 so that you can have a matching outfit with an older sibling too.
A delightful vintage-inspired collection. We received the Diamond Cable Hooded Cardigan for review and as a vintage clothing fan, I really love the likeness to an original vintage piece (i.e. not a cheap imitation). The organic cotton inner and outer fabric is luxuriously soft and the quality of both the fabric, design and trimmings are of an exceptionally high standard. Really suits my 2-year-old and he feels comfortable. It’s great to know that a non-toxic, sustainable and ethical option like Aster & Oak exists for luxury baby clothes.
